Important Information On 2023 WAEC Result

During a press conference to unveil the release of the results, Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of the National Office (HNO) at WAEC, stated that the candidates’ results were already being uploaded to the results website.

Areghan further explained that candidates can view their results by visiting the official Council website: http://www.waecdirect.org.

He emphasized that the necessary credentials for checking the results online, which include the Result Checker PIN and Serial Number, are available on the Candidate’s Smart Identity Card that was used during the examination.

As part of an innovative approach, candidates will now also have access to their Digital Certificates simultaneously upon checking their results. The Digital Certificates are readily available for candidates who took the WASSCE for School Candidates this year and have no unresolved queries or cases of examination malpractice. This digital advancement aims to streamline the admission process, enhancing flexibility and convenience.

Printed copies of the physical certificates will be available for collection 90 days from today. This is anticipated to facilitate smoother admission procedures, offering greater ease of mobility for candidates.

Candidates who have fulfilled their financial obligations to the Council can view their results on the Council’s designated results website: http://www.waecdirect.org. Once results are accessed, candidates also have the opportunity to visit WAEC to validate, share, and download digital copies of their certificates. Additionally, schools will receive copies of the result listings in due course.

Another notable enhancement is that candidates now have the option to verify the accuracy of their registration details online, helping prevent the need for subsequent amendment requests, which may not be granted. To fulfill the registration requirements, candidates are required to provide their National Identification Number (NIN).

Mr. Areghan concluded by underscoring the importance of these advancements in the examination process and the pivotal role they play in ensuring accuracy, convenience, and adherence to registration protocols.
