To gain admission into the Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede, you must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the Kogi State College of Nursing, you must:

  • Possess a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), or General Certificate Education (GCE O’Level) or their equivalent.
  • Must be medically fit for the training.
  • Must have a passion for the nursing profession.

Kogi State College of Nursing cut of mark

The cut-off mark for admission into the Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede is determined based on performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the O’level results. Admission into the college is strictly based on merit.

Meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the college. Candidates must participate in the UTME and attain the prescribed cut-off mark.

Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Obangede is welcoming applications for the ND/HND Nursing program for the 2024/2025 scholastic year. Admission requirements include a least of 5 O-level credits and a UTME score of at least 180.
