About Bovi Personal Life
Bovi attended the University of Benin, receiving his primary education at staff school.
In 1991, he was enrolled in Government College, Ughelli in Delta State, for disciplinary reasons and out of parental fear of his rebellious nature.
After this point, he was then sent to Edokpolor Grammar School in Benin City where they resided.
Career and Achievements
As a fresh comedian hopeful, he rose to fame in the 2008 comedy showcase, Night of 1000 Laughs. In 2013, he did his first stand-up special at the Eko convention center.
The following year, he did a sequel in the same venue. 2014’s Bovi- Man on Fire starred international superstars Ja Rule and Ashanti. He took the one-man special to several U.S. cities, London, Melbourne, and Toronto.
This year, after an almost three-year absence, the Man on Fire franchise finally came back to Lagos and was more successful than ever.
Lagos hosted the fourth edition of Man on Fire in April of 2019, with producer Bovi insisting that it would be the last in the series. Next, he promises to produce a new title. Bovi’s created a series titled BACK TO SCHOOL in 2018 that he uploads on his YouTube channel. Bovi has collaborated with other Nigerian comedians like I Go Dye, I Go Save, Basketmouth, Buchi, Odogwu, Okey Bakassi, Julius Agwu, and many others.
