BASIC NURSING PROGRAMME
This is a 3 years, 6 semesters basic nursing program, affirmed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and run at Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing Katsina. It is outlined to prepare students on down to earth nursing abilities and gives them the knowledge and clinical experience they got to become a Registered Nurture.
Enlisted Nurses can work in any Tertiary Healthcare Institutions (e.g National Clinic, Federal Medical Centers etc), Secondary Healthcare Teach (e.g General Healing centers) and Essential Healthcare Institutions (Primary Health Care, Comprehensive Health Care) within the world.
Admission Requirements
Candidates must have at least five (5) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in WAEC, NECO and/or NABTEB.
Qualified candidates will be required to compose an Entrance Exam to be conducted by the College.
Candidates successful at the Entrance Exam will be welcomed for an interview to be conducted by the College.
Candidates successful at the meet will be offered provisional admission into Basic General Nursing program at Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing Katsina.
Candidates conceded into the basic Nursing Program will undergo seriously training/lecture in Fundamental Sciences and Nursing Courses for six months. Thereafter an Basic Examination for the Primary Semester will be conducted by the Kasimu Kofar Bai School of Nursing Katsina.
As it were successful understudies at the basic Exam will be Ordered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the unsuccessful students will be withdrawn.
Clinical Training
