The breakdown includes the application fee of ₦10,000, acceptance fee of ₦100,000, and a Parents’ Forum Levy of ₦10,000. Students studying Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science are required to pay an additional clinical fee of ₦200,000 per session

Admission Requirements and Application Process
UTME Admission
- An applicant must have at least five credits in English Languages, maths, physics, chemistry and biology no more Second term of the West African Normal High School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or equivalent (NECO, SSCE, GCE).
- Students must have good results in the same baccalaureate Examination (UTME), conducted by Joint Admissions and Matriculation School (JAMB).
- The UTME course will include the use of English language,
Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Direct Entry Admission
Direct admission into the 200L can be provided in any of the following ways:
- Accepted passes at IJMB, JUPEB and Cambridge “A” level.
- exam in three science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) (or zoology), human nutrition and general science) (with total not less than 9 points), in addition to completing O’Level required of option “a” above.
- Become a registered nurse or midwife in addition to completing it O’Level requirements and “a” above.
- Every post-primary nurse’s career is a added value. Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Botany, Biology, physiology, anatomy or biochemistry.
- Previous graduates in related science or its equivalent in addition to O’Level The requirements of option “a” above may be considered for acceptance.
- Correction results are not accepted.
- Transfer: Applicants may transfer from other department/ from this university or other recognized universities (preferably from programs in basic/natural and applied sciences eg Chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, medical laboratory science or Industrial Chemistry) and the Department of Nursing provided
these candidates meet the appropriate admission criteria listed above.
